The Australian Human Rights Commission’s 2016 “Leading for Change Report”, clearly showed that there is an absence of cultural diversity represented within the leadership positions in Australian politics, government, business, and universities.

It’s not only from top down culture, but also in bottom-up culture that we aim to disrupt and advocate for LGBTQIA+ women from diverse backgrounds.

SheQu Group Inc’s third pillar is our career and professional development events and workshops. We provide tools and resources to our SheQu Group Inc members, so that they can capitalise their own skills and create opportunities for themselves. We want to create a network for LGBTQIA+ women from diverse backgrounds who can share their own experiences, build each other up and promote each other.
